My experiments are mostly done on my computer which is a super-powerful machine! But I still sometimes get tired or even bored when I am running them. Sometimes my computer program does not work and some other times the result of my experiment does not make sense. This can be tiring, specially on a Friday night! I am trying to learn when to stop so as to make sure I enjoy my job most of the time! There is no point trying to carry on working or understanding an experiment when ones brain is drained, no?!

Doing experiments can be frustrating and tiring, especially when you spend a lot of time planing them and doing them and then, because of a reason you cannot understand, they do not work… but overall, I LOVE planning and doing experiments. It is the best bit of my job 🙂
