      Hello 🙂

      There are many things I love about my job. I think my favourite part is the independence to think! I feel like I can be creative and come up with questions and answers on my own! Getting paid to think and be creative in a field you love is pretty cool! I like the use of maths in my work a lot too! I know a lot of people don’t really like maths at school but I always found it fascinating. In my work I can use equations and numbers to show how very simple equations and numbers can help us explain and understand complicated phenomena, like the formation of sensory hairs on the skins of flies, genetic evolution and the patterns we see on plants and animals

      Hi!

      The best part of my job is getting to find out new things nearly every day. I also love to think about how all the data we get fits together with what is already know. Finally I love the fact I get to plan and design the experiments how I want them to be. It is grey to lead your own lab, so you get to test your ideas 🙂
