Frank Longford answered on 24 Mar 2015:

The solar core is around 15,700,000 degrees C. That’s hot enough to force 360,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 protons together per second to make helium nuclei releasing 38,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 joules of energy every second!

      In short, it’s pretty hot.
