      That’s a good question! I have to be honest — I did not know the answer and had to look it up. As you would imagine it is very hard to count all the species we have already discovered so an exact number is impossible! But we have discovered an estimate of 7.8 million species of animals! And scientists think that there are many many more to be found! What a diverse planet 🙂
