      I think the most interesting thing I discovered so far was that very low oxygen levels in tumours make the machinery that duplicates DNA in a cell fall apart, and so the cells cannot duplicate their DNA. However, if the cells are in very low oxygen for only a short period of time, the cell can recover and start duplicating their DNA again, and that can make them survive and become more aggressive…
