• Question: What is your favourite invention and why? Do you think it will still be used in the future?

      My favourite invention would gave to be the internet! I think it gives people a lot of power by letting them access and share so much information. It changes the way in which we understand the world and each other and also the way in which politics work.

      I am sure the internet will change a lot in the future but I think it will still be used .

      I think I would have to say penicillin – if we can call that an invention. Its an odd choice for a Physicist but its the corner stone of much modern medicine and has helped billions of people.

      While it may become less effective in the future and become replaced by newer drugs I still think its importance shouldn’t be forgotten.
