Frank Longford answered on 15 Mar 2015:

I like being a scientist because I am able to investigate mysteries and puzzles by being creative and learning more about how our world works. As well as this, I get to work with many amazing like-minded people who care a lot about what they do and are dedicated to finding out more about the world too. There are many enjoyable perks to research as well, including getting to travel to other countries and meeting many different people from around the world.
