      I don’t really know much about it. Although I went to talk about how probability theory can help forensics which was pretty interesting. The talk was about using information from the DNA from a scene and using things we know about probability and statistics to make decisions in forensics. I think this is cool but I am also a bit worried because I don’t want people who are innocent to end up getting convicted and I think making such important decisions based on probability may not always be good…

      I think forensic science is incredibly interesting! Forensic scientists use similar techniques that we use in the lab to try and understand how a particular crime happened, or to help people find their relatives. One of my best friends from Uni in Portugal is a forensic scientist, and we both did the same Biology degree 🙂
