      Hello! You are making me realise that I have travelled a lot 😀

      I am from Cyprus and one of my first big trips was to come to the UK to study when I was 18. That was a really fun experience! I have also travelled to many other countries in Europe, like Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Greece and Switzerland. A lot of these trips were for fun but I also get to travel for work to go to science conferences which can be really interesting and fun!

      Also, while I was studying for my PhD (a research degree) I spent three months in Japan! That was super exciting, I really liked working in such a different country and meeting scientists from all over the world. The culture and food were also amazing there!

      I also spent a few years living in California in the United States to study (sometimes studying can be super fun and open so many doors!). That also gave me the chance to visit Mexico and Guatemala. So all in all, I love travelling and I think my job and love for studying have really helped me to do more of it 😀
