• Question: What does lung cancer do to the body

      Lung cancer can harm a person mainly by two ways: It can grow and grow, damage the lung tissue and prevent that person from breathing properly;
      or it can spread to other organs, such as the liver, brain, bone etc, and grow there, and harm those organs. It can actually do both of these in some cases unfortunately…

      This is why it is so important for cancer scientists and doctors to have ways to spot these cancers early, before they can do damage when growing and before they spread to other places in the body. That way it makes it much easier to treat in the long run.
